PCEA Saving & Credit Cooperative Society (SACCO)
PCEA Regulated Non-WDT SACCO LTD was registered with the Kenya Government in October 1985. This cooperative society is a voluntary association of members and institutions from Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) and other like-minded persons, groups and institutions and individuals who wish to work together to promote their economic interests through pooling of resources together.
The Sacco prides of wide membership spread across East and the Diaspora. Since its inception the Sacco has continued to increase. Membership is open to all who are looking to invest with guaranteed returns and access to diverse and flexible loan products.
PCEA Sacco was registered with the Kenya Government in October 1985, as is required under the Kenyan laws, for such societies. This cooperative society is a voluntary association of members from Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) who wishes to work together to promote their economic interests through pooling of resources together.
Main purpose of the Sacco is to serve the interests of its members, who are its stakeholders. The society aims to:
- Mobilize financial resources of members
- Facilitate productive and marketing capacities
- Fulfill social economic needs of the members and groups
- Pool resources together and get access to cheap credit and savings facilities.
The loan repayments, as well as the savings, by members are made on Self Payers for Individuals and Business people, a check-off system for those employed is also possible, under check off members authorize the employer to be making monthly deductions from their salaries, and then the employer remits these amounts to the Sacco.
