PCEA Sacco was registered with the Government of Kenya in October 1985 and is regulated by SASRA. The Sacco prides of wide membership across East Africa and diaspora who joins voluntarily to work together in promoting their economic interests through pooling of resource. 

This cooperative society is a voluntary association of members and institutions from Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) and other like-minded persons, groups and institutions who wish to work together to promote their economic interests through pooling of resources together.

Drive Transformation.

Main purpose of the Sacco is to serve the interests of its members, who are its stakeholders.

The society aims to :

  • To encourage thrift among its members by affording them an opportunity for accumulating their savings.
  • To create a source of funds from which loans can be availed to members exclusively, for provident and productive purposes, at a fair and reasonable rate of interest.
  • To offer the members complementary savings and credit services and other financial products.
  • To ensure progress of its members by educating them continuously on proper use of credit.
  • To ensure safety and soundness of members funds through an appropriate insurance scheme.

  • To perform all those functions and exercise those powers designated for Savings and Credit co-operatives Society under the applicable laws for the benefit of the members.
